2008 Calendar

The Top Drawing is of
"Devon House, 40 years of Craft!"

Devon House is the home of the NL Craft Council. It started as the Newfoundland and Labrador Craft Development Association NLCDA. I was it's second director with the help of Isabella St. John and Albert Ripperger, brought the annual Christmas Craft Fair into the organization.
We've come a long way!

The Middle Drawing is of

"Change Islands "

Change Islands are an amazing place. With their Stages and Stores program, it has an amazing old world charm. The rounded top on the shed is real. In fact I saw several houses with rounded roofs.

The Bottom Drawing is
"Capelin Cove, Trinity Bay "

This lovely traditional house is long gone, but I remember seeing it for the first time. It spoke of home by the ocean. The dog in the foreground was my dog Alder. She was half Newfoundland and half Labrador, a truly provincial animal. The pup cuddled up with Alder was my dog too. Holly was also an NL provincial mix (my breed). Holly has appeared in several of my works, a drawing of her is on my contact page.

The Calendars are printed on
